IQor Takes Home Training And Development Award

Call center provider iQor is celebrating after picking up a BEST award from the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD). The award acknowledges iQor for its creative and results-driven training programs and makes the company one of forty that were chosen throughout the United States, India, and South Africa for the awards.
Established in 2003 the BEST Awards recognize both large and small public, private and non-profit organizations that achieve company-wide success as a result of their employee learning and training practices. The acronym BEST was chosen to describe the way award winners, "Build talent, Enterprise-wide, Supported by the organization’s leaders, fostering a Thorough learning culture."
Tony Binghan, ASTD President and CEO explains, "The BEST Award winners share a deep commitment to learning and development. BEST winners set the standard for exceptional practices in learning, and demonstrate that a skilled workforce is vital to achieving business results."
iQor currently boasts over 7,000 employees who work out of 19 call centers worldwide providing services such as customer care, customer retention and revenue recovery for clients in a number of different industries including government, telecommunications and financial services.

As a BEST Award recipient iQor will be able to use the 2007 ASTD BEST award logo and will also share its formula for success while taking part in the annual Learn from the BEST event. iQor was also honored along with the other BEST recipients at an award ceremony that was held Oct. 2 and featured in the October issue of Training and Development magazine.
