How To Take Charge Of Your Life Work From Home
Do you ever feel that your career is just going through the motions – like the mouse on wheel? Your financial independence is something you planned for but is not happening.
Do you ever feel that you are at the end of puppet strings with someone else in control? You are not your own boss so you are at the mercy of someone above you.
Do you ever get sick and tired of living paycheck to paycheck? You never get to increase your wealth because you make just enough to pay the mortgage, rent, car, utilities.
For many of us these are tough questions to ask and hard answers to give. We do not want to admit that our careers have not gone the way we planned. (I guess I should have listened to my mom and been a doctor!) We do not want to admit that our careers are not in our control. A down turn in the economy, downsizing, a change in management, etc. can all lead to abrupt ends to the security of a position. And for too many of us, even our jobs just get us to take care of the bills until the next group of notices come in the mail.
I answered "Yes" to all three of the above questions. Answering in the affirmative is one step, but what is the next? How do we change? I want to have control. I want my career to mean something. I want to live freely and not cringe every time I go to the mailbox and receive another bill. I want to create wealth. I have had enough!
So, I looked at what I could do. I studied myself. What did I want in a career? How did I want that career to look? I tried to define what the words "career" and "job" actually meant to me. I needed to honestly ask myself what I really wanted and to also be prepared for the answer. Many of us are afraid of the answer. The answer may be out of our comfort zone. We think that it’s only attainable for someone else. “I can’t do that”. But, in my research I found people who took a chance, who believed in themselves and their abilities, who believed that they could change their lives. That takes courage, guts, a leap of faith, whatever you want to call it. That is what I am doing.
I found that I want not just a job, or a career. I want a lifestyle, a lifestyle that involves creating wealth with me in control. Me in control puts me in a lifestyle that is not afraid of the mailman, is in control of my own destiny and frees me to be who I want to be. I believe I found that opportunity with a web based business.
